I would just call. In general fourth street bets are a lot looser than river bets. It is usually the nuts of nothing. He could have been trapping. If he has a dry ten, he would call a 2/3 of the pot size raise. It is not an automatic decision. If I thought the dude was a bad player, I'd take my chances with a big raise that looked like a bluff. If he busts me, he sure won't get any cherry.
