AA vs Rock

Postby briachek » Tue Jul 26, 2005 8:07 pm

Converter isn't working.

I know I played this hand badly but what should I have done? I couldn't think of a hand on the river that I beat, just tie. Can I really fold the river getting those odds?

Well you have to call the river bet.

I probably would have checked the turn..that is a really ugly board for AA...try to keep it small..get out if he bets with any authority.

i love being weak tight.

your play on the hand wasn't bad at all really.

Owww....that's just a tough hand. You played it very similar to what I would have done...if you check the turn chances are he is going to throw a bet similar to what you did, then what are you going to do? At least with you betting on the turn you put him to making the decision rather or not to call you. If he comes over the top you got to lay it down. On the river I would have called the bet as well.
