Smallish Overpair (200NL Prima 6H)

Villain is a HUGE loser in my DB and runs 50/24/3.3.

In the hand just before this he raised OTB, and TAG BB called. Flop K high rags. Tag leads 1/2 pot, this guy reraises, TAG pushes. This guy folds.

Very next hand, he open min raises in the CO. He's starting half stacked b/c of his loss at $114.

I reraise OTB to $20 with 8[h] 8[s]. He thinks and calls.

Flop 4[s] 5[d] 6[d]. Pot $39 and he has $97 left.

What's the best line here?

1) Make a regular CB but never fold?
2) Check?
3) Make a CB but consider folding to a raise?

Pot size and donkishness of villain play any role?

I agree that #1 is the best.

I bet 30 and he called.

Turn is the A[d].

Pot is 99 and he has 67 left.

Do we now:
1) Open push
2) Check looking to CRAI?

Do not let him hit a 4th diamond for free/see a favorable high card river. Poosh.

I think you are behind 1/2 the time (do NOT like that A), but 2:1. You are calling if you check and he bets, and you get fold equity if you bet, MALLIN.

Im not sure I agree with whats been said here so far, but based on the theorys given and if I had played it the same way up to this point, I think you have to bet since you dont have the [8d]. If youre plan is to "bet the flop and not fold", I might check with the [8d] so he can bluff the scare card but not with out it.
