Superaggressive players - bet them out or pay the price

I had been playing very aggressive preflop in this pretty passive game, I wasn't really getting played with at all. Then, along comes this guy and I get his entire stack because of his timidity.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (8 handed)

UTG ($380)
UTG+1 ($466.20)
MP1 ($527)
Hero ($327.80)
CO ($341)
Button ($371.20)
SB ($429.10)
BB ($531.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [6h], [7d].
2 folds, Hero raises to $14, 2 folds, SB raises to $32, 1 fold, Hero calls $18.

Flop: ($68) [9s], [3s], [5h] (3 players)
SB bets $30, Hero calls $30.

Turn: ($128) [8d] (3 players)
SB bets $85, Hero bets $85, SB calls $0.

River: ($298) [7s] (3 players)

Final Pot: $298

Ugh....can't get the converter to work right. Anyway, he bets 85 on the turn and I go all in for 285, he calls. What did he have? I'll let y'all guess.

Did he have aces and underbet the flop and turn...? BTW, do you always play this LAGgy? I'm not sure I'd call an $18 preflop raise w/ junk and a $30 flop w/ a gutshot... But, maybe I'm just too damned tight... :D

First off, I think he had an overpair or possibly a set.

Second for MVP, I agree that raising 67o is a loose play but if he's been getting away with it on a tight passive table, he's likely making a lot of money with it. Second, he raised it to $14 preflop and the SB raised it barely more than the minimum. Getting those type of odds and the $400 stack left behind the SB, you have to call. Lastly, he has a double gutshot on the flop, not just a gutshot so I think its defintely a good call for less than a 1/2 pot bet on the flop.

1st off - villain had KK ( didn't think a set because of the reraise preflop)

2nd - Yes, I do play LAG sometimes, but usually only when the situation warrants it. In this specific case, the table was incredibly tight passive, I would raise preflop maybe 40 percent of the time and get called very infrequently. Usually my flop bets would take down the pot unless my opponents hit top pair or had a good draw.

I wanted to take a flop with that hand, and I did get the perfect flop and his weak betting warranted a call. I just can't believe he called an all in for his entire stack when another straight card came out, maybe he put me on JJ, who knows.

long... I've seen people do that before... he figures... "hell I've put in ~$145, I may as well put the rest in and cross my fingers..." Even worse, the way you were calling, I would've seen you more for trips than a straight... Either way, VERY bad call by him...

I dont think SB's call is that bad. His preflop and flop play is awful but against most UB players I call the turn raise. Especially if Hero has an aggressive image.
But I also tend to fall too much in love with overpairs
