You shouldve seen the action I got after this one:

$1/$2 NL

Everyone folds to the button who limps. SB completes. I raise to $8 in the BB with Q5.
Why? Because who limps on the button with a hand they can call a raise with?

Well the button does call and the SB folds.

The pot is $18. The flop is AK5. I bet $15 and he calls.
Pot is $48. Turn is a 2. Check/check
Pot still $48. The river is another 5. I bet $50 and he calls with AJ.

Good times!

Wow. I can think of at least 37 mistakes your opponent made in that one hand.

37? You are well beyond me. I can only think of 4: preflop, flop, turn and river. Actually, 5 - messing around with a fish like Iceman.

MVP: yep, you're right. Old ladies galore.

But what I really like is the old lady types who are scared to bet but also tenacious. They won't bet themselves, but sometimes they'll call whatever you decide to bet. It's entirely up to you how much each hand will be played for. It's truly wonderful to identify a few of these people.

I had a guy last night who limped in with AA, letting me see a free flop with 93o in the BB. I caught trip 3s on the flop then the boat on the river. The guy with AA never bet, not once, just called me all the way down for his whole stack. Unreal.
