Thoughts on this?

Postby Tordan » Sat Jul 23, 2005 12:21 am

1. I'm working on my own converter.
2. I'm amazed at what some folks will bet on.
3. I'm curious what folks think of this in general. I usually don't play hands this weak but it felt right this time, and I think i bet about right for the hand, but I would like more opinions.

My thought is that is WAY to low to be anything.

I'm thinking this is too low to be a set. Might be a nasty two pair but if he had AK on the draw he would have bet more then 2x before the flop, No?
EP folds.
Hero calls [$1].

Hero shows [ 7d, Kd ] two pairs, kings and sevens.
Button doesn't show [ 5h, 8h ] a pair of fives.
sheeesh.
Hero wins $7.70 from the main pot with two pairs, kings and sevens.

everyone said it so i will just agree. Fold preflop, don't limp. Maybe from the button with many limpers or completing in the sb. I probably raise the flop for information to see how much he likes his hand. Don't min raise as any draw will chase so he will only put more money into the pot if he catches and folds if he doesn't.
