Top Pair w/ str8 draw... you make this call?

Postby devilmollusk » Mon Apr 25, 2005 11:30 am

I have just sat down, no reads yet. Please critique all aspects of my play, but specifically the turn call. I put him on bottom 2 from his min check raise. I figure I have 11 outs, and maybe a small chance I have the best hand (very small chance). So maybe the call was a little loose... thoughts?

I think that was a converter problem. I pushed all in on the river and got a call.

even better. I didn't realized that my $10 bet idea pretty much put you all in so going all in would be better as it would look more like a bluff than not betting it all.

Yeah, obviously the hand worked out brilliantly for me. But I am not sure about that turn call.. I almost folded.

Once the straight hits this guy is dead. He has already badly misplayed his bottom two, and he is going to pay me off.
