Limp RRAI AK is fine if pots are usually raised.
There is something to be said for taking slightly the worst of it in a retarded loose 50BB capped game in order to try to build a stack. Shove preflop is fine.

You're right, you had more info than me and if there's someone raising a lot then limp-shoving might be best.
But the way you kept going on about getting 42 limpers and how everyone calls on the flop made me think it was a passive game.
