TPTK vs flush card

Postby iceman5 » Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:23 pm

I just doubled up to $440 on this hand...

Villain limped...next guy raised $45. I shoved with AK. Limper who is the same villain in the hand Im about to post calls me with 66. Raiser folds and I win. So he limp / called $200 with 66 not knowing if the other guy was going to reshove. I get the feeling villain stinks. He runs at 40 / 12 which is very rare in this game. Its a limited sample but he goes tro showdown 38%

So anyway, Before I leave I get [As][Qd] and raise to $35. Villain calls in the BB.

Pot $75. Flop [Qs][3c][2c]. He checks, I bet $50 and he calls fairly quickly but not instantly.

Pot $175. Turn [9c] and he leads $90 almost instantly. Whats my play? I have $265 left.

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

Nice call Shobute.

I just called the turn and then checked behind on the river because I was confused. He had [6c][6h].
