In LHE, they're CSs, so it just becomes a value betting game. If they catch cards (and they usually see all 5), there is NOTHING you can do. Sure, it's technically profitable, and my BB/100 is healthy, but ugh.... BORING!!! And they take so phucking long to call. Oh yeah, when they bet or raise, they somehow seem surprised that I know they have 2pr (sometimes a set) or better.
The PLO8 players are the WORST nutpeddlers. Not even that, when they can put the squeeze on - they have nut low, i have nut high, and there is an obvious jackball still in the hand -- they WON'T RAISE!!!!!!!!! All because they're afraid of losing a quarter of their stack just in case the other guy has the same low.
Again, any decent sLAG can kill these games, but it's SO BORING. Oh yeah, the normally glacial normal pace of plo8 (50 h/hr) slows to an almost unberable 40 h/hr or so.
All this crap actually takes away any possible joy I can get from playing poker. PHUCKERS!!!!!
Anyway, I think I've learned my lesson (for now). Stick with real games against real players so that I don't burnout.
