I played $100 NL at Bodog last night. I noticed the fishies were SWARMING that game. Tons of tables are running and they are all full of idiots.
I spent the whole night taking notes on how badly they were playing. And I didn't notice that I was playing just as badly as any of them.
Here are my sins:
I limped AA UTG+2. After preflop went unraised, I did bet the pot on the flop, but I called all-in from a half stack on the turn with a board of 2789. He had 89.
I check-raised with

I called all-in from shortstacks on the flop three times chasing my flush. I did not have odds to chase any of them. (None of them hit.)
I checked on the button with a flopped set of 4s on a board of

Throw in some folding of the best hand a few times (most memorable: I had JT and the board came J44 and there was a bet and a raise in front of me so I folded the flop -- they were on J5 and A9 bluffing), and some typical cards-not-going-the-right-way, and I blew through more than 200 bucks. Not a huge deal in terms of buy-ins, but it hurts to think about.
I think I have about a thousand hours of penance to do for this.
