Not actually a bad beat but felt just as bad

Postby SebQtaneus » Sun Feb 11, 2007 1:28 am

So, I take a bad beat early which drops me from my original buyin down to about $6. Instead of reloading like normal, I just figure I'll see if I can work it back up with good play. I get back up to $18.65 and am feeling pretty good. Then this. He can't just set over set me. Noooooo. He has to quad up and really stomp on my guts while taking my stack.

That sucks. When the turn hits you're thinking "Yes!!" when you fill up, but then the chips slide the wrond direction after the river... :(

So after dropping that stack, I decided to jump up and try NL100 6max for a bit with twelver. I decided to just shortstack it and buyin for $25 hoping for a double up. Twelver left after awhile and then this happened which sorta made up for the hand I posted above.
