I actually liked the play against Hachem. Hachem's most likely holding on that raggy board is a one-pair hand - I think Kanter was just waiting to pop him on the turn if any 9, J, Q, K, or A hit.
The play against Tex is horrible though. The 1st raise isnt bad - he figures Hachem for a steal, and figures Tex knows this so Tex is likely bluffing too. But when Tex puts in that 4th raise - time to fold. Really bad all-in. Tex said it himself - something like, "I haven't made a play all night..."
This is the typical bad player in high stakes poker though - not loose-passive, but super loose-aggressive. When this guy runs bad - he's out on day one and then probably spewing chips at your nearest 10/20 table. When he runs well - hello final table.
