Even if you didnt have the damage waiver, the car insurance on your regular car would cover it. You do have a car in Vages with insurance on it right? If you do, you should never buy the supplemental insurance from the rental company.

I hit a car of mexicans in San Jose one time. It didnt do much to their car but it put some big gouges into the bumper of my rental. I told them it had some scratches on the bumper when I turned it in and never heard anything about it.
