Any chance of greasin' the palm of the police nerd who takes care of the traffic photos so that yours gets lost?

Also, not being someone who knows anything about the law, and especially CA traffic law, this may sound noobish. I have to wonder if it is not police officers who have to give you the traffic ticket? Not some machine? Just because some camera says you ran a redlight, doesn't actually prove you broke the law right? What about the Valet parking attendant that took your vehicle out for a test spin while you were eating at Spago's without your knowledge ala Ferris Bueller's Day Off? And what about all the drunk drivers who passed in view of that same camera? Did they get tickets? Or what about the folks who threw a lit cigarette butt out the window as they went past the camera? Is it fair that those folks don't get a ticket and you do? My point being that when you break a traffic law that requires you to get a ticket, shouldn't it be administered by an actual person such as what would be required to ticket those other folks for their infractions?

Yeah yeah...$75...thanks for rubbing my nose in the fact that Cali is the gheyest state in the goddam union...I looked it up, and it is indeed a moving violation, and a criminal matter, etc.

Bollocks to just paying the damn thing tho...why would i not at least try and fight it rather than just paying it? Theres a ton of ways to beatem...This wepage has like everything known to man about beating tickets and such...pretty tite...

http://www.highwayrobbery.net/redlightcamsticket.htm

Altho, i like this guys approach to it the best:

"I have had many red light camera tickets in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood but never paid for any of them. I just ignored the notice and threw it away. I also ignored the second notice that came in the mail stating that amount of fine is now doubled and collection action will be taken. It is all a bunch of cr@p.
If you are an attorney, you should know that they have no proof of service and bench warrant cannot be issued. They will never spend the money to serve every violator.
I advised all the people that I know to throw those tickets away and many did. Years went by and nothing ever happened to anyone nor me.
I wish that everyone just threw these tickets away and possibly this nonsense would stop. Thank you."

I donno if i trust that noob enough to shine the thing off tho..meh..

Its 100% certainty that that guy has multiple warrants out for his arrest and the next time he gets stopped for speeding or whatever...he will be speing the night in jail and paying a massive fine to get out (assuming it really is a moving violation, which would violate the constitution in most states...yippee for Cali!).
