If I'm raising first I tend to raise it up to about 30% of my stack pre-flop if I'm going to be OOP on flop. If called I then have an auto-push for a full pot sized bet and unless villain has hit flop they usually lay down. With high PFR% players behind I'm often limp-pushing my premium hands.

With a raiser ahead of me I can just decide whether the ranges, money in pot and fold equity make a push worthwhile. As this is what the short stack strategy is designed to do this is actually pretty easy (at least at $100 NL)

As far as when it comes to me in LP with a possibility of raising first in, I'm still trying to work that one out and find it the trickiest thing.
At the moment I'm raising 3xBB usually to try to keep the pot small enough for me to keep some advantage from position. Limping in LP just seems too weak but I don't want to give someone OOP vs me an easy pot-sized bet and leave me with nothing to do but fold (as I'll have no FE if I come over the top) if I've missed. I may even experiment with 2.5xBB raises. The alternative is I guess just donk shoving decent hands to create an 'all-in donk image' and try to encourage spite calls...anyone any thoughts?

Very first hand at the table...

Ultimate Bet
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10./$0.25.
6 players

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with [Ks] [Kc]
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $0.85, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero raises all-in $5, UTG+1 folds, CO calls.

Flop: [9d] [8s] [2h] ($10.95, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $10.95)

Turn: [Td] ($10.95, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $10.95)

River: [Ah] ($10.95, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $10.95)

Results:
Final pot: $10.95
Hero shows [Ks] [Kc]
CO shows [5c] [6c]

Yep, they will call shoves pretty lightly... I'm pretty sure that sets my personal record for shortest session ever.

I had a short-stacker at my 0.25 table last night who habitually pushed with Q9o, so yes some are calling light and rightly so.

I saw him show that hand three times after pushing. Once when he busted my AKs with it, once when he busted another guy's AA, and once when nobody called.
