Oh hells bells! Fuck that dood. Ive sucked up to more bartenders than i care to mention, in more ways than i care to mention, in more sseedy motel rooms than i care to wirete about and lemme tellya--- ive never tipped 16 fuckin dollaras onna goddam beer. Nice plug though!

A slightly better deal is that you or your friend is banging the bartender so you can bring in your own Big Gulp full of Crown and coke or have your drinks put on your "tab" for a greatly reduced fare at nights end. Then you go to give the bartender her just reward after closing time

They should just pay bartenders properly, rather than having them rely on tips. Though I think it's a much better job in the USA, I guess you do pretty well throughout the night on tips, right? What is the pay in the US? In britain, tipping at a bar is pretty rare in most places (though not unknown) but I guess the pay is a bit better.
