I have to agree with MVP. The game may well go over because thats a very low total, but I have to disageree completely with the analysis.

Cleveland torched Pitts D? Thats funny. Did you watch the game? Or just see the stats?

Miamis passing game is not very good and EVERYONE has torched the Pats defense. Their pass defense is horrific, so Miamis passing yards in that game dont mean much.

Both Miami and Cleveland are running teams which leads to low scoring games. Also, I dont think that "yards per play" means all that much when youre betting the total. Can the teams score? Well, these teams cant score much.

Miami is certainly not a passing juggernaut of years past but they are certainly not a completely inept bunch. The last game they fumble inside the 10, miss a chip shot field goal and ended the game in the red zone again. The previous game versus the Falcons Vick led 4 or 5 70+ yard drives and kept the ball over 36 minutes. And otherwise they have had a pretty tough schedule thus far. I may be completely off base but I think this game sets up for both teams to score much more than they have done so previously. I guess we'll have to wait for the outcome and perhaps I will have to eat some crow but I will stand by this pick.

Piersy...

Don't know if it means anything at this point, but either: Sage Rosenfels, a quarterback that, in like 4 years, has barely ever thrown a ball, is gonna be playing... or Gus Frerotte, their bleh current quarrterback, is gonna be playing with a severely sprained finger on his throwing hand...

Either way, it looks like it's gonna be a very run oriented game...
