OK, heres a little trip report.
We got there at about 4:30PM. Last time I went, they opened at 4pm. They had 1 $2/$5NL table and 1 $5/$10NL table. Now they open at 10AM and they have NL tables everywhere. They had 4 $1/$2NL tables going and numerous other NL tables open. Tim wanted to play $1/$2 since it was his 1st time to play live. I told him over and over that he would be better than most everyone playing those stakes. I went ahead and putmyself on the $1/$2 list and the $2/$5 list
I got called for $1/$2 in about 30 mins and Tim got called right after me but we got seated at different tables. I could see him though so I was keeping an eye on him.
1) My very 1st hand, Im on the button (dont have to post) and I get dealt KQ. 2 limpers and I raise to $20. They both call. 10BBs and they both call
Flop is all rags. I bet $50 into the $60 pot and they both fold. 2 guys say "show us your aces".

This is gonna be fun.
2) I limp with QT after a couple limpers. Flop QQ6. Checked around.
Pot $10. Turn T putting a flush draw on the board. Guy bets $10, a call, and I call.
Pot $30 River 3. Guy bets $15, a fold and I raise to $50 which he calls with T7

This is gonna be fun
3) I limp 98s after 2 limpers.
Pot $10. Flop KJ9 with flush draw. Checked around
Pot $10. Turn 3. Guy bets $15, a call from a guy whos chasing flushes left and right. I raise to $45. 1st guy folds but chaser calls.
Pot $115. River 2. He checks, I bet $70 and he folds.
4) Mr Flush chaser raises to $15. Guy to my right just sat down and reraises to $35. I have 99 and fold. Flush chaser calls. Flop A94.
Flush chaser open pushes for $50. Reraiser calls with AK. UGH!!!! Flush chaser has QT
I didnt want to call $35 preflop when the guy only had $225 or so.
Im dominating these weakies and I have a $460 stack after about 2 hours. I got called form the $2/$5 game but by now I really liked this tabel and stayed.
5) My one bad hand. Flush chaser moron limps. I raise to $15 with KK. He says "I call that obvious bluff" and calls. He said that once before and it meant about the same thing as his open push with QT. Absolutley nothing.
Hes reloaded and won some pots now though so he has about $325. I have $460.
Pot $33. Flop T99. He leads for $25. Ive gone over and over this hand in my head and still havent come to a conclusion. Heres the question: If he had shown me his cards accidently and I knew he had a T, is it correct to raise? Well if I know he'll call then sure it is, but I dont know that. I could let him be my hand for me and milk him. Also , he could have a smaller pocket pair or maybe have a 9. I decide to just call.
Pot $83. Turn Q. Now he leads for $50. Same dilema. If I raise now, he will put me on AQ and most likely fold unless he has a 9. I flat call.
Pot $183. River T.....UGH UGH UGH. He bets $100. Now, youre probably thinking "you shouldve raise you moron, he wouldve folded his ten". But did I really want him to fold when he has 2 outs (if he has a ten)? Hes 19-1 against rivering a T. I think the answer lies in how often he will bet the river even if he doesnt river a T. He must think that I have AK since I havent raised so i think he WILL bet the river without improving.
Like I said, Im still confused about this one though. Aggression wins, but I think this might have been the right time to just call him down based on the fact that he betting my hand for me when hes most likely way behind....or he might have a 9 and Im way behind. If I raise the flop and he reraises, I have to fold.
#6) I limp

[9c] after 2 limpers. Guy to my left raises to $10 and everyone calls.
Pot $40. Flop

[8s][4s]. Checked to the raise who bets $15. Folded to me and I check raise to $65. He has $160 left and Ive seen him make 2 good laydowns.
He pushes all in. UGH! I ask if he'll show if I fold (which Im doing anyway) and he says yes. I fold and he shows

[Jc]. Damn it! I really like my check raise after seeing he had J's. I cant believe he pushed in there.
We played for about 5 hours and I won $2

The KK hand killed me and I couldnt get anything going after that.
Tim won $300 and played very well from what I saw and from the hands he described to me. I like this place and I may go back next week.
