Drogga,
That poll is pathetic...grouping those QBs together just because they won SBs with great defenses? I mean McMahon and Dilfer got one each....grouping Bradshaw or Brady with them would be insulting....
Why don't you back up your previous comments...so name me 10 or even 5 QBs that could have done what Brady did?? never did and cannot do it!!
And you know, if poker has taught me anything is that can't get too high nor low...so win or lose, its not goingt to affect me all that much....I am just a FAN for cry not loud!!!
Hats off to the Iggles though for taking a stance against TO! That guy drives me nuts!!...all the talent in the world and he goes out of his way to be an ass!
And linkng SBs to greatness isn't the fairest measure....look at Marino, look at Manning!
And as far as the Brady/Manning comparisons go, I would be honored if I were Brady to be thought of in that light!....The Brady/Manning comparisons remind me of the Wilt/Russell NBA comparisons....Russell did have a better team, always played his best during his many runs at the Championship while Wilt was a better individual player but did not relish in the amount of rings....
but to be fair, I put Brady in that first bunch....as a passer, he is extremely accurate and seldom makes mistakes, as a QB he takes control of the offense and exudes confidence, and as an athlete, he continually trains and studies and has yet to reach his potential.....I know he will have a good game tonight....I am hoping that Dillon has a BIG game and the defensive line goes to work.....unfortunately, no amount of hoping is going to solve their needs in the secondary!!
As I said yesterday, it can be difficult to compare QBs from different eras, but If I had to, only Montana would I put higher than Brady on that list (with the caveat that I am not too familiar with Unitas)....
