UB's new rule about US players having to deposit first

Postby bkholdem » Sat Sep 08, 2007 4:15 pm

I posted in the poker rooms forum and got no replies.

I have been taking some money off line lately, which i have not done in a while, and when I contacted UB they said that their policy post Frist is that US players have to set up a new deposit method and deposit at least $25 bucks via that method before they can make a withdrawl.

Have you other US players done that? What method do you use? Other helpful info?

I never play at UB anyway and have like $600 sitting there. I wanted to grab 4 or 5 and leave a bit to screw around with in mixed tournies and the baby stakes no limit .1/.2 game where you can put as much as you want on the table but now I have to jump through hoops to get my $, bla.

epassporte is the same way. I've been dying to get my deposit to go through (it takes a week) just so i can get some money off cake.

I set up an epassporte acct back when NT hit the fan. Basically in order to get cashouts from sites (Stars was the same wasy) to work I had to make a deposit into the account... BAsically what it did (at least my understanding) was linked a new e-wallet to your account, since everything was originally linked to NT.

I had UB send me a check for what I had in my account back when the panic happened of NT closing it's doord to US players. If most of your roll is on sites and you set up an epassporte account just load like $55 bucks (or whatever is necessary to clear a rooms min deposit). Then you can cashout and use some of that $ to do the same thing at other poker rooms.
