After losing $230 playing $100NL on UB already this month Party has saved my ass winning $280 in about 300 hands. I guess that might say a lot about my game...

Having said that it is the only site that offers any kind of table selection during week days to us Brit players so what yah gonna do?

Sorry, Ice, but I am having that same problem. I am breaking even because that damned place has the ability of making me tilt. The problem I have is I find playing there very fun (I am kind o f retarded or something but it s true!). I guess it s the same thing that happens to me with limit games. I see so many people playing sooo badly that I know it s suposed to be a goldmine but it is not. I just keep losing at both Party poker and limit games....

Don't feel bad, ice. I've been bitching about Party/Empire since the beginning. Here I am, by all accounts a solid limit player (overall now close to 5 BB/100, killing the 3/6 at Stars). Piers hooks me up with $125 of bonus money at Empire, and I end up breaking even AFTER the bonus.

I only broke even because of Piers' advice about 25NL and 25PLO8. I cashed out of Empire, deposited it into Stars for the reload, and am up close to $400 in 3 days playing 3/6 limit.

At Party/Empire, playing 1/2 and 2/4, I'm at -2.75 BB/100 over 2k hands
Every place else? +5.6 BB/100 over 15k.

You be the judge.

I win at party but break even at most other places, mainly stars. I guess its just a personal preference.

This is my story in party. I won 150 earlier today and have lost 128 this afternoon. I know there are suckouts but that is not my problem. My problem is handling those stupid players!! I guess I am even more stupid than them. I just keep bluffing anf they keep calling with absolutely nothing.

My problem there is also patience. maybe it s just me but I have noticed that most of the times you get all the good hands and everything seem to work for you. After that, you are in the worst run of bad cards possible. I want to be in the action and give away all the money I did. I will get discipline enough to not BLUFF at all. Not even once. When I am capable of that I know a crazy win rate can be sustained there. Way above 10ptbb/100, maybe 15 or so...

Thats for NL$50 and 25.

I do have to make some major adjustments for Party. I almost go a little weak tight leaving many marginal situations working on the assumption I will get paid off more for my big hands. So far this has worked stacking a guy with JJ vs my AA, all-in preflop. Not something you would be so lucky to get on other sites. Then I blasted a guy with a straight who called off with his middle pair! Otherwise I sit tight with my head down. I do make a lot more notes on Party trying to spot the pot stabbers etc and who I can push around.

I run by the mantra of looking for reasons to fold more. I think you just have to win with cards more than good play in the long run ans assume everyone is an idiot.

I believe the biggest factor in my success at Party is changing tables. There are so many crazies or just odd table dynamics that I am not afraid to change tables 8,9,10 times until I find a table that suits me.

For example, I played 150 hands with a guy whose VPIP was over 90% and he raised 50% of his hands. I loved it; however, if I were new to those stakes or was sitting in the wrong chair, I would have left.

Ice doesn't have that priviledge at his level as they have very few games to start with.

I am sitting at nearly 80 days in a row without a loss mainly from playing at Empire. I think I am going to have to write my on "Party Poker Cracked Book" I do take some gawd awful asswhippings there but by and large I have been dishing out alot more than receiving lately. The site that I can't dredge up a win at is Paradise. That site got ditched from the hard drive my last time there.

I am in the worst session in a lot of time. I started with 240 and now have only 87. I am playing bad but I am getting beat by players playing even worse. I have 45 and I m in the CO with KQh. I limp. And it s three ways. The flop gives my Q 4 2. The biggest calling station I have seen calls my pot sized bet and check the turn. Id ecided to push and he called me qith Q4. Of course he hit his 4 and busted me.

A maniac. I limp with AK UTG. The flop comes A - 8 - 6 rainbow. I bet the pot, $2., maniac raises to 8, the other limper folds and I pushed . He calls all in $62 with AT and turned his two pair to beat me.

The list keeps going for a few more hands but I am just mad. I need 150raked hands to clear the empire bonus but I need to clear the Party bonus when I´m done. OMG. Maybe I should forget about party and skins and the 200 dollars they give each month. I am suffering every penny...

I will try not to bluff at all because most of the money besides those hands has been lost in bluffs, that in fact are very good, given the hands they are showing, but they take the money. Maybe I am the stupid and they are just super-readers .

OMG. It s official, I HATE PARTY POKER!!!
