Poor placement of an ad

Postby striker2550 » Fri May 20, 2005 12:35 pm

I just got the new issue of cardplayer magazine. The first article I read is Roy Cooke's article cause it is usually about limit rather than that game w/ the weird betting structure. I think its called No Brainit Holdem.

Anyway he starts off by saying good things about Commerce casino. I just figure he really likes the place and/or wouldnt mind some more comps. Thats ok by me. But then I notice on the facing page is a full page ad for commerce casino. WTF? Now Im wondering if Mr. Cooke "sold out" or if the mag just made a choice to put the ad there cause of what he said. Just my opinion but that was just too obvious and a bit corny on behalf of the mag.
I do not think, therefore I am not.
