The point about getting as many bedpost notches before settling down as possible is a good one, and anyone who claims to be disinterested in accruing a decent total is just being dishonest. It's as much of a biological imperative for men to do this as it is for women to agonise over their appearance.
There are many crazy women out there, no question, and they don't all come with a stamp on their forehead that tells you this. I'd argue that they're all inherently mad to a greater or lesser degree, but that's beside the point. It's another good reason in my book to get out and follow the erection direction - just don't ever lose your heart to a total nutcase.
I'm still sceptical about male/female friendships, mainly because I can't think of any that have lasted - they rarely survive a seismic change in circumstance (eg marriage (to others), families, relocation etc) which is an acid test of a friendship.

Hell, if you get that Verizon wireless card thing, you can travel around the friggin world, partying, having fun, running with the bulls, goin to Carnivale, doin whatever the hell it is you wanna do, and sit around the hotel for a couple hours making the money you need for the next month...
