Yes, it looks like this is going to turn into the "let's all attack each other for not agreeing with every single thing we believe about politics" threads. Standard for BTP, and depressing ... which is why I try very very hard not to start this kind of thread anymore.


So anyway, in the spirit of turning this into an even less useful discussion of an even wider range of topics ....


Good thing Ice never buys into conspiracy theories. (like the 9/11 conspiracy ... or the "Clinton had half a dozen people murdered and tried to make it look like suicide" conspiracy.)

Dooood the clinton is a crook theory has way more substantiation than your average right wing wacko conspiracy theory, i hate to tell you...

He plea bargained with WW prosecutors to avoid federal perjury charges,= he lied in a criminal prosecution (why would he do that i wonder?)

He pardoned like 1000000000 people at the end of his term lots of who were involved in that and other 'scandals' of his. And this wasnt a Ford pardoning nixon thing where it was one guy who was an ex president and maybe done out of respect for the person/office and to avoid making the US look like the village idiot. This was a bunch of people who were mostly non-head of state type white collar criminals. Totally unheard of, totally flew in the face of any conception of "and justice for all" (including buddies of the admin.) Why would he do such a thing for so many people? Mebbe they had somethin onnim?

Then ya, there were the killings, which taken by themselves could be whatever and you may be able to accuse people of bein wacko conspiracy theorists for pointing the finger at all of those, but when taken into consideration with all the other circumstances, its a whole heap of circumstantial evidence that the guy was as dirty as they get...

Is it just my imagination or does it seem like the last few elections (and the upcoming one as well). That nobody is really enthused about the canidates and it is basically just about trying to pick the least shitty canidate?
