Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Rhound... what happened to you cursing and hating party...? Since your challenge there like a month ago, it seems like that's the only place you play...

BTW... call me superstitious, but these hands are exactly the reason I don't play at Party...

You ever think about not playing all these suited connectors and one gappers and just throw them in occasiaonlly. Most of the time we see these beats from you, it involves those types of hands. I'm not saying you played badly or anything but playing these types of hands can bring these type of beats. You had a nice run of nothing like this happening and then you get hit all at once. At least it was just a buy in and not after you grown a stack and then lose it all.

UTG's min bet and then re-raise are both things I'd expect a big flush holder to do, your re-re-raise all in put you in the position of only being called by a hand that has you beat.

As for these two hands, yes I play suited gappers and connectors for a raise and yes it does get me in trouble sometimes, but these have been good money making hands for me, so I'm not going to change because of a couple of bad situtations, the first hand is a horrible river card, without making a boat I dont pay him off, my opponant is a rock and I was ready to fold when he called my flop bet, then I got a free turn card and made top boat on the river.

The second hand my villain is very weak tight and has slowly leaked off a little less than 2 buyins in the 2hrs since I sat down, he really liked that min-bet and did it a lot. I really thought he had AA with the [Ah], this was the first hand he had raised in 84 that we had played together, so I really though big pair which is why I called with gappers.
