The 2008 USWWO features national championships and US titles in wind and water extreme sports. With nearly $10K in purse money and prizes, the US Wind & Water Open features the The Port of Corpus Christi US Windsurfing Regatta, the US Kiteboarding Open, USWWO 5K , The Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Mixer & Crush Girls Bikini Contest, and the USWWO Expo. The US Wind & Water Open, formerly the Velocity Games, is an international favorite to both the competitors and the spectators.
