Triple-Monitors

Postby GodlikeRoy » Wed Nov 30, 2005 6:19 am

I've got a dual-monitor setup atm and am thinking of expanding to 3 monitors with my next computer. Is it possible and if so, how can i do it?

Thanks!
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

i think you will need at least a second graphics card (assuming one card has a dual-monitor set-up).

don't go cheap on ram, either.

I think you need one AGP and one PCI. There may be motherboards out there with 2 AGP slots, but I don't know of any. (May not even be possible.)

Jeez, dude, at what point is it overkill?

I don't see why you can't run 3 monitors from 2 graphics cards, I've run 2 monitors from 2 cards in the past, and am currently running 2 monitors from the one card.
