What is Sweden doing about the suffering in Darfur?

Everything from "Whats the best place to get a sandwich at Bellagio?" to "Damn, Shana Hiatt is FINE!".

I would say that in general, on avg, lawyers are smarter than cops, but cops have a whole lot more common sense.

I know a hell of alot of both of them.

"Hell of alot" is a great collective noun for lawyers and cops.

I like to differentiate between being "intelligent" and being "smart". I would say lawyers tend to be intelligent and cops tend to be smart (well... plain clothes cops ;) )

I fully admit that the US doesnt have all the answers but im fed up with Swedes, Canadians and alot of other non Americans constantly talking about how we screw everything up, meanwhile their countires sit back and reap the benefits of us doing the best we can to keep the world safe from maniacs like the dude in N.Korea, Iran, Iraq, Libya, and countless other countries.

Why dont you guys send your brothers over to Somalia on a humanitarian effort and watch them die in vain in a country that can never be saved from themselves.[/quote]

Nice to know the Americans don't even know Canadians are trying to help out.
Canadians are occupying Afgan right now. We are over 70 killed since we entered I believe. My cousin was 100 feet from three others killed from friendly American fire. Need I explain why the world hates the US? Before you respond saying what a crappy job we are doing, I'll go ahead and agree. I think we should bring them home. I may need a hip replacement in a few years and don't want to be on a waiting list for 98 months because all the money is going to the war effort.

With the new Micheal Moore movie coming out should we start a new thread discussing health care. The positive and negatives of public and private healthcare. Anyone?

Ok Proplayer, NEWS FLASH:

Canada and Swden does NOT sit back and do nothing.

Sweden AND Canada both have armed troops helping to fight the taleban in Afghanistan for example, and devotes a MUCH larger part of their budget to humanitarian foreign aid. Neither country however has waged an aggressive war in a couple of centuries and I fail to see how that is a bad thing. Sending "your boys" off to die in a foreign country should need a pretty damn good reason and be hard to do, and since we don't have a huge surplus of poor and uneducated men to send to their death we try to be selective about waging wars.
