Ice... NATO/US bombed Serbia not because of Slovenia, Croatia or Bosnia wars.. they did it because of Kosovo, and they did it when Croatia and Bosnia wars were over for some time already.. only satisfaction a Croatian might in any way have with that is that "our enemy got bombed, no matter when, no matter why"... there was no UN resolution following the bombing, and it was a completely internal Serbian issue with no influence on the outer world..

Other things I wrote, hmmm, YES, envy, antneye and others.. this is exactly why
the "rest of the world" dislikes you... there is nothing for me to be envy of.. what I know for a fact is that I can walk anywhere in Croatia in the middle of the night not feeling insecure about my safety; we don't have people killing each other on streets in broad daylight over dope or some shit; here, 1 cop gets hurt in 5 years for doing his job; we don't have people that snap and kill 30 of their friends at the university or at the job they work at; we don't torture people "legally" in our so called prisons, and our prisons are not overcrowded; we don't have to work 3 jobs to pay the rent etc etc... so, yea, I don't envy you... I envy the likes of Sweden and Switzerland...

the reason no one attacks Canada is not because USA protects them.. it's nonsense.. no one attacks Canada cause there is simply no reason to attack Canada, and they actually didn't do anything to deserve it.. same with Aussies..

I merely noted that RedB's comments were interesting not that I necessarily agreed with all them. I'm pretty sure the US doesn't have a monopoly on drug addicts and murderers. What was more interesting to me were his comments regarding the Kosovo stuff. I agree with you about the perception of the US based on the 24/7 TV coverage of shootings etc.

On another note:
And for what it is worth, I was aware that the US has been withholding UN funding in an attempt to get reforms enacted. And the US does pay a significant share of the UN funding compared to the vast majority of nations which is the point I was making, maybe not very well.
