What the hell's going on? Admin plz

Woke up this morning, and half my posts from last night have gone, 3 or 4 in Northview's journal, the thread I started about what BTPers do that confuses you (k it was pretty pointless)

Are mods deleting stuff at will here? WTF is happening?

First off, I don't get your attitude. Do you really think that mods are randomly targeting your posts for deletion? And even if they were, it is well within their rights since this is a privately owned site. What I am getting at is that a more polite inquiry and perhaps some investigation would be more appropriate.

Obviously several posts from the last days have disappeared. There are barely any posts dated July 27:th. Personally none of the posts I have made after July 25:th seems to have made it.

Now either the evil mods who live only to wreak havoc on the angelic posters such as yourself have finally put their grand scheme in action, or some mistake or computer error caused the last days posts to be deleted en masse, hopefully leaving the backups intact.

There was a problem somewhere and everything disappeared into cyberspace for like 36 hours. Everything seems to be workng now.

Tetsuo is the tech genius around here and (not me) and he was unavailable when it happened. Hopefully he will be able to recover everything. If not, at least we'll be rid of the overwelming amount of useless insult posts that have accumulated in the past day or so.

The ony annoying thing for me is that I'd done a 'contents' list for each podcast and will have to do them again if the missing 36 hrs are gone for good..

And mods can't delete posts per se (although we can edit or move them to a 'bin' area non-mods guys can't see) .

It has to be tet that permanently deletes them.

We put this into effect a few months back so that a 'rogue mod' (if we ever got one which we haven's so far) wouldn't be able to delete entire threads at the click of a button...
