News on the poker front: I am not sure how to beat this game. I am really beginning to wonder if I can bet the 1/2 and 2/4 games. I don't get paid off when I make a hand and I get CR every time I try to steal.
At $100 and below I would make a tiny bit of money when I wasn't making hands and I then I would hit a big hand and make money. Now I am bleeding off chips between big hands and then I don't win enough big hands to make up for it.
So far this month I have played 2500 in hands at a table with >= 7 players. In that 2.5K hands I have taken 2 stacks. Weeee!!!!! That can't be a winning proposition.
Overall down $170 in around 2 hours. At this point I am somewhat bewildered.
Edit: Maybe I cursed myself by making that brag post about hitting 10K in roll. Since that time I have played 35 hours of break even poker. Yeh!

Welcome to the new age of poker kid, the days of the maniac moron are coming to an end. Not to many players left who will pay off your AA all with KQ on a T55 board. That dude will always take the cake for me.

Meh. 0.93 hour session, total -32.29. It is really tough to win when
- You have a VP$IP of 14
- You have a W$SF of 18
- Your two largest pots were steals
Maybe I need to back to SHed because I am not making any money playing FR and I am not having any fun.

Rhound - I got 2 outted in a $2000 pot last year, I have also broke a cup in half playing catcher. The feelings were similar.

I have decided what I am going to do over the vacation. I am going to play a combination of micro NLHE and 2-7 TD. I will play the NLHE whenever I am board and I will play the 2-7 TD whenever I want to play real poker.
In that light I played a 1ish hour NLHE session and was a total LAGtard. It really scares me how WT the micro players are on stars. Overall won $15ish off one big hand (posted in Bad Beats) and a ton of stealing.
Then I played some 2-7 TD and boy do I suck. I played for 1.5 hours and dropped $7 or so. However, I dropped $25 in my first 20 minutes, and made it up after that. In the beginning I was playing WAY too many hands, and my results showed it. I think it will be fun to tackle a new game, so I am starting to get excited about playing in a way I haven't in a while.
We will see how I feel when I get back home. If I am still enjoying myself doing this I may extend the TD experiment post vacation.
