keep your head up kid and keep pounding the pot when your opponent is drawing to 2 outs...after watching X's vid of the big game, I have big respect for your game - this is a minor bump in your graph bud.

Thanks for the support Allstar. Although I don't know why you have such respect for my game. When I mentally review my play in that game all I remember are my mistakes lol.

On a more positive note I got back about 7 hundred after being down 1g yesterday. I love poker so much I almost don't believe it.

Won another $375 tonight for a $675 wint today.

I also played 4 tables today. 2 $400 tables and 2 $200 tables and it went OK. If I can begin to 4 table that would be good at these limits I think. I will try more depending on the availability of good games.

I am continuing to struggle with a bad run. Not dropping a bunch of by ins or anything but a tough month. I'm probably down about $400 in Feb. Lots of unfortunate flops/turns against short stacks and stuff like that. Also lost a few big hands to suckouts which never helps things. I have made a few minorish mistakes $ wise but doing much better with maintaining solid play when hitting adversity or making a mistake, something I have improved a lot on in the past few weeks. And I am being tested for sure the past couple weeks.

Hey BK,

Have you read the Tao of Poker or Zen and the Art of Poker? I have only read Zen

I read a random passage of Zen and the Art of Poker weekly. If I am card dead, I read about patience, if I am underaggressive, I read the aggression section etc. This has really helped my psychological game in the last month.

There is a section about encorporating losing into your game plan because it Will happen. If you haven't checked these out, I recommend you do. They are pretty cheap and help a fair bit.

I can not believe what is happening to be. So many 2 outers and so many all ins when I'm the favorite falling in the other persons favor.

Today raise with AK and am called. Flop comes A high and i bet and am checkraised all in by a shortstack. I call. A4, guess what the river is? 4

I reraise with AA. flop K high I bet and am checkraised. I push. He calls. He has AK. Guess what the river is? K.

This is happening to me left and right. I am considering quitting poker. I can not believe it.

Hey Ice, I remember reading about your bad run. I"m not sure if yours was worse than mine or not but the statistical improbability of what is happening to me is incredible. I am glad that I don't have gambling impulsiveness. A lot of people will move up trying to recoup losses when this happens. I have moved down.

I was playing 400 and some 200 when good 400 games were not available. Now I am mostly playing 200 and 100 (for the past few days) and some 400 if there is a good game.

I took a nap and feel better now and am not preparing to quit but this is just crazy. It feels like the software is programed to screw me and I am playing at 1/2 dozen different sites. Thank God for bankrolls and thank God I'm not a 'gambler' or I would have been all in the 5/10 games trying to push to get my losses back.

I havent' broken anything yet but have been gettting pretty upset and yelling at my wife here and there from being overwhelmed.

I don't think I can stomach loosing another all in at the 400's until I shake this crazy bad run. I don't have the patience to play the 100's as they seem so small to me now. I"m in a tough spot. I never thought poker could be so hard....
