Well, I dropped back down to the $100's this morning. I lost 2 stacks last night at the 200's where i was a dog when most of the money went in.

One hand I had AA and reraised to $26 and bet pot and got minicheckraised and pushed. The board was Jxx. I had almost 1/2 my stack in at that point and just pushed. The other hand i had mid set and someone flopped a straight in an unraised pot on a two tone board. I pushed and of course he called.

I wanted to move down as a safety precaution. I"m glad I did becasue I took a few crazy beats and other all ins as a favorite as well as overpalying AK and thinking I could move someone off a hand. He had a mid pair and went to the felt. So anyway i have the bankroll and need to focus on playing good poker.

I really hate losses and want to minimize my risk for a bit. I will be more comfortable playing the 100's. I am down a grand from a few days ago (2 1/2 buy ins at 200's and 5 at 100's, 4 of wich I was a huge favorite. Such is poker.

Weill I decided to try the 9 table experiment tonight. I need glasses to pull that off. It really strains my eyes. I lost my glasses and am in no rush to do the 9 table thing on one screen. Gottla love the 25NL idiots though, dude calls my utg raise with J7 and calls pot on flop and turn with top pr of J's 7 kicker.

After a short break I went back, this time 4 tabling the 200's. The play is not hard or over my head. That is not to say that certain players are not better than me because they are, there are a handful of players there i prefer to have on my right, a few of the rather active aggro players who are winners.

Other than that it mostly seems standard. I need to stick with my reads and think through river decisions as i auto call with average strenght hands too much after the turn checks through.

I also overplay big pairs when I am stuck.

Other than that my game is pretty solid and I can take down binds in lp and mix it up and make moves here and there to pull n some dough.

My main leak is my psychological/emotional makeup. I take a few bad beats at the higher stakes or silmply loose a few stacks as a slightly moderate favorite then loose a couple as a dog and it impacts me a lot.

Well I decided to say to hell with the money and set aside like 10 buy ins at the 200 level and just PLAY POKER. F all the woryring (I will do my best not to). I have never been able to go along with this. I have read lots of advice given to me and others saying: just set aside x buy ins and consider it gone and just play. I could never do that, like mentally detach myself from the money. So when I take losses (either beats or dumb calls) I become mentally/emotionally effected. Like part of my energy is preoccupied/being used up just worring about the $$ I am down and what I could have used it for and worring about going broke. Doesn't seem to matter that I have over 50 buy ins.

So I am goiing to try it this way and see how it goes. I think that my last time at the 200's and 400's when I had some bad variance helped me a lot in getting to this point where I am prepared to set aside those buy ins this time. I don't need to be worring about money lost, I need to focus on my play. Sounds easy lol.

Down to 8 of the 10 buy ins i set aside today.

both times i flopped a set the flush came.

other times i caleld raises with pp's i missed.

Cant say I used hte best game selection playing daytime hours and should look at that. I'm very frustrated, card dead and people hitting their draws, etc.

What can I do? On a postive note it's really easy to keep up with 6 tabling so if nothing else I am further developing my multitabling skill. If I don't go broke maybe i will be 20 tabling the 25nl tables in a few months.

Well i am down 2K in 10 days. Mostly all at 200NL.

AA cracked by KK 2 or 3 times.
KK lost to AA 3 times.
Nut straight all in on turn in a baby pot called by bottom 2 pr who sucked out.
Top and bottom pr misplayed and lost to a flopped set
1 stack of miscelaneous bad play, mostly bad river calls, cbets in bad spots, or being floated
JJ flopped top set lost to KK suckout
1 stack to blinds from being so card dead lol
double stack lost with middle set to a minicheckraise on flop who turned a higher set
Other random suckouts for a loss of a couple stacks

Thats from memory. At least i have the roll to handle it. And I am handling it much better than the last time when I was going crazy and I didn't even loos this much. Fortunately I was up like 1K in the week before that.

What I need to focus on is what I can control and how to play my optimum to the best of my ability. I need to be more careful in big pots too. I tend to put people on bulffs more than I should and get emotional at times too. Overall I am pleased at how well balanced I am about the loss.

I am really glad I am over rolled.
