Activity for 10/03/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

At one time, I was up over $180, then went into a
downslide helped by my losing two hands to
runner-runner flushs. Then I moved to another table
and kept on losing. I had AT against A7 and lost my
pair of aces to two pair. I had another hand where I
had AQ, flopped an ace, but I was up against AK and
lost that hand. Then I had KQ, flopped a king but I
was up against AA and lost that one also. At the end I
also missed 4 flush draws in a row and lost the money
I put into those hands.

I was up only about $30 at one point. Finally I won
three hands in a row to get up to $108 and decided to
quit.

Sets flopped were 2 for 18, below average.

Flushs made were 3 for 7 1/2, above average.

2/4 limit hold'em full tables

I lost $28 today. Not much to report. I didn't get
many good cards or good flops at the beginning and was
down over $50. But at the end I flopped some sets, and
won some small pots with them.

Sets flopped were 3 for 10 above average.

Activity for 10/05/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

I finished up $169 for the day.

I was getting good cards today and good flops.

I flopped 3 sets out of 8 pocket pairs, way above
average and won all three hands. One pot that I won
was $77 (19.25 big bets).

I also flopped two straights and won both of those
hands. Usually I don't flop even one straight.

I made 2 out of 2 1/2 flush draws. I won one of the
flushs and lost another of the flushs, although I was
able to make a good laydown on the one that I lost.

At one of the tables, a player came into the game that
was raising quite a bit, although not all the time. At
one point he had $36.47. In the next two hands that
were dealt, I won every penny of it. The first hand I
had AQ and flopped two pair and won. The second hand I
had pocket 99 and flopped a set of nines and won the
rest of his money. Then he left the table.

At the end I even won a hand with ace high. I was
surprised. The pot was $36.10 (9.025 big bets), a fair amount.

Even my pocket AA won.

I'm now in the positive for the month. Hopefully, I
can keep it going.

Activity for 10/07/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

Today was an exhausting day. I was down as much as
$330 but made a comeback to end up down $92.

Some of the low lights:

1. The first hand that I played I flopped a flush to
the king and got beat on the turn by a flush to the
ace.

2. I had a full house kings over tens and still got
beat by a full house kings over queens.

3. I had trip nines get beat by a set of queens on the
river.

4. I had a set of nines get beat by a straight on the
river.

5. I had a set of queens, which improved to a full
house on the turn get beat by a higher full house on
the river.

6. I had a set of jacks get beat by a straight on the
river.

I got beat quite often on the river and the turn.

Sets flopped were 5 for 32, above average, but I only
won with 2 of the sets.

Flush draws made were 1 for 10 1/2, way below average.

Fortunately at the end, some of my hands started
winning. I made a straight draw in an important hand
and won a $113.85 (about 28.5 big bets) pot.
