************ Day 2, Part 2 *************

Its only been 900 hands so far but Im getting very comfortable already. Of course getting a good start and having a cushion helps alot. Most of these hands were played on Fri / Sat so I expect the play to be better during the week. So far, Im seeing some very fishy plays from about 40% of the players. About 40% of the players are good but predictable and easy to read. The other 20% are dangerous.

I played a little over 300 hands this evening and picked up another $300

Approx total playing time............4.75 hrs
Total profit..................................$2370.10

Current share value....................$618.51
Current win rate..........................26.9 BB / 100 hands

I got alot of good hands tonight. No huge pots, but more than my share of premium starting hands. No really interesting hands to post. Im not happy about this one though.

I have 77 in the BB. MP raises to $30, SB calls and I call.

Pot $90. Flop JKJ. We check to him and he bets $20. I check raise to $80 and he calls.
Pot $250. Turn blank. I bet $150 and he min raises me. I fold.

Plays like this never seem to work and I hate myself for trying to "outplay" people like this. I can wait until I have AJ and make this same play and make a killing because they just keep calling me. Theres no need to try to take the pot from him without cards.

Sounds like a good start ice. It should be interesting to see how the play is during the week. I'm confident that if you keep playing your game it will work over the long haul.

************* Day 3 ***************

Today was a tough day. I ran into some pretty bad beats and had to fight uphill all day. I had AA vs KK and lost. I lost QQQ to KK. I flopped a boat and lost.

The $1000 tables broke up early so I played some $400NL which is not a part of this project so stakers money is not used. I got AA vs KK again and lost again.

I fought hard and was back in the black...up $130 or so until the night session where I lost it back and ended the day -$276.85 in 3 1/2 hours of play. If I had posted a morning session report, you would be REAL happy with that small loss.

4 interesting hands are posted here.
forum/viewtopic.php?p=35326#35326

Approx playing time (only $1000NL included).........9.25 hrs
Total Profit (only $1000NL included)........................$2093.25

Current share value.........................$604.66
Current win rate...............................12.6 BB / 100 hands

Im very happy with the first 3 days, but there is definately room for improvement. $226 / hr isnt exactly chicken feed. My goal is $125-$130/hr

************ Day 4 **********

Today really sucked. Mostly because I was up a little over $1000 in the first hour and ended the day down $242.40. I played about 2 1/2 hours. My play was pretty good except for one ill advised play that cost me $300 but who wouldve thought a guy was playing K8 UTG and would check the KQ4 flop , but then be willing to call a healthy turn check raise when a 9 fell. The guy is a regular who doesnt appear to be very good to say the least. He is the one player who I have the most hands agaisnt so far and hes dead even.

I lost $400 when I called a raise with AKs...flopped a K but lost to AA.
I also lost about $350 in this hand:

MP (short stack fish) min raises. Im in the cutoff with AQs. I meant to reraise but hit call by accident. Button and BB call also.

Pot is $85. The flop comes Q45. BB checks, MP bets $70, I raised to $200...folded back to MP who pushes all in. Its another $150 or so to me so I call. he has 76 and hits a straight. I got all in as a 2-1 favorite. Not much else I can do.

Im dissapointed about my results today, but not my play so I can live with that.

Approx total playing time............11.75 hrs
Total profit..................................$1850.85

Current share value....................$592.54 (18.5% return in 4 days isnt bad)
Current win rate..........................8.6 BB / 100 hands (after 4 days of play, Im raising my goal from 7BBs to 10BBs)

Return on Investment at current pace (after 1 month).......140%

Some stats:

VIP%.................15.3%
Preflop raise.....4.63% (higher than normal for me)
WSF..................47.08%
WSD..................68.18%
SD.....................24.8 BB / 100 hands

How are thing going today Ice? Been quiet on here and I love hearing your thoughts/hands either good or bad. It's nice to live vicariously through you while I'm at work. Keep up the solid play man.

************ Day5 ************

I hardly got to play today at all. Ive had alot to do after being gone a week. Im hoping to get much more playing time in in the next days and weeks to come. I normally avg about 3-4 hours per day, but so far Ive only played about 12.5 hours in 5 days. Actually the 1st day, was the evening I got back from vacation so I really didnt even expect to play that day. I originally was going to start the project on Aug 1st but was so fired up about it that I started early.

Never fear, investors, in less than an hour today I won $1220.05. Either Im on a very good run, or Im playing my ass off. I will admit that Ive only had 2 bad beats so far and they were not full stacks or anything like that. Lets hope I can keep this up.

Approx playing time..................12.5 hours
Total Profit.................................$3070.90
Hourly rate................................$245...wow!

Current share value..................$653.55
Current win rate........................13.6 BB / 100 hands (Goal is 10)

Return on investment for one month at current pace........190%

**** This is figured at my current rate of hours played per day times current hourly rate....I will be playing more hours per day as the month progresses but expect the win rate to drop, so this could actually be near the expected return which is hard to believe. I hope the investors are happy so far  ****

Some stats:

Win rates of my opponents in order of most hands played against me

13.6 ...Me
-13.8
5.6
1.8
-61.6
14.9...Came in 14th in WSOP
-11
-31.3
18.8
-46.6
1.9
-29

I'd say Im more than holding my own so far.....Lets hope its not just a good run of cards. I will say that the biggest pot Ive won is $1100. I havent been stacked or stacked anyone yet (not full stack I mean)

Congrats on the great start Ice. Where do find the time to fight crime, answer posts, and whoop up on $1000NL? 8-)
