Overall
--------
Great session. Didn't get many hands but got paid off when I did. In 500 hands I only made 1 1/2 mistakes.

Mistake 1: In a very dry run of cards I overplayed AQ. Hand is below
Mistake 1/2: OOP I didn't bet when I turned a flush and let someone draw to a bigger flush.

I knew that I was ahead of him the whole way. I obviously didn't know that he caught his 2 pair on the river but I realy like turn bet and the river check regardless.

I just realized that after today’s session I am now down under 2 buy ins. Unlike rhound I am not superstitious so I don't mind saying this, I am on a incredible run.

I haven’t really looked around but I really don’t think that these numbers are sustainable. However if I can sustain them for a little while longer I may be able to break even by the end of this month which would be incredible.

I guess that NLHE is making up for all the rough treatment it has given me in the past. I have never really taken it seriously (O8 has always been my main game) so maybe it is showing me a little love for showing it a little love.

Weeeeee!!!!!! This is fun!

Edited to add a few hands that I had questions about.

Overall
--------
Strange session I won almost 2 stacks but I only stacked someone once. I took the rest $3 here and $4 there. I ended up taking down almost every continuation bet that I made.

Stats
-----------
Hands: 334
VP$IP: 13
W$SF: 31
WtSD: 17
W$SD: 77
WL: 43.80

The Good
-----------
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

UTG+1 ($24.65)
UTG+2 ($25)
MP1 ($50.20)
MP2 ($26.35)
MP3 ($13.04)
CO ($65.44)
Button ($38.10)
Hero ($49.20)
BB ($16.05)
UTG ($26.40)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Qs], [Js]. Hero posts a blind of $0.10.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.25, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.25, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.75) [8c], [9d], [Qc] (7 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets $2, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, Hero folds, BB folds, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: $3.75

This is a fairly standard hand so that was not what made me happy. It was the fact that I didn’t even contemplate calling here. I didn’t even wait until the action was on me. I click the pre-action fold and went back to playing other tables.

The Bad
----------
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed)

Hero ($24.75)
BB ($27.64)
UTG ($28.20)
UTG+1 ($34.67)
MP1 ($24.65)
MP2 ($58.05)
MP3 ($5.25)
CO ($50.60)
Button ($24.65)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Kd], [Kc]. Hero posts a blind of $0.10. UTG posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, 3 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $1.9, UTG (poster) calls $1.75, MP2 calls $1.75.

Flop: ($6) [7d], [Th], [2c] (4 players)
Hero bets $4, UTG folds, MP2 calls $4.

Turn: ($14) [9s] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $4, Hero calls $4.

River: ($22) [Kh] (3 players)
Hero calls $14.75 (All-In), MP2 folds.

That river bet was just plain stupid. After the turn I knew that he is either playing QQ, KK or a set. I couldn’t decide if he was making a milking bet or trying to see where he was at. After that river if he has a set it is all going in anyway, however there is no way that QQ or JJ call that bet. I really should have bet 1/3 pot.

The Questions
-----------------
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

UTG+1 ($23.90)
UTG+2 ($24.75)
MP1 ($36.35)
MP2 ($24.75)
MP3 ($52.84)
CO ($63.89)
Button ($10.80)
Hero ($24.15)
BB ($20.40)
UTG ($8.76)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [9d], [9s]. Hero posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, CO calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1) [9h], [6d], [Ah] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

Turn: ($1) [Tc] (4 players)
Hero bets $1, BB folds, MP1 calls $1, CO folds.

River: ($3) [5h] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $3, Hero Calls.

MP1 bet exactly the pot so I am getting 2:1. I think that I should have lead pot on the flop and now that I have played this hand so passively I have to call the river bet. MP1 was moderately loose, with average aggression, and below average W$SD. What do you guys think?

Overall
--------
I finally got some extended time to play a full session and was rewarded. Only lost 1 pot > $5 the entire session.

After my 5K hand review post I have decided to try to increase my agression on the flop and to increase my VP$IP. I think that I did both on this session. I am going to have to increase my VP$IP even more but I think I need to learn to crawl before I learn to walk.

Stats
-----------
Hands: 559
VP$IP: 17
W$SF: 30
WtSD: 18
W$SD: 65
WL: 132.60

The Good
-----------
Overall higher VP$IP and aggression.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed)

UTG+2 ($21.30)
MP1 ($46.80)
Hero ($22.55)
MP3 ($24.75)
CO ($29.80)
Button ($34.70)
SB ($12.50)
BB ($37.60)
UTG ($16.25)
UTG+1 ($21.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [Jd], [Ad]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
4 folds, Hero calls $0.25, 1 fold, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.25) [4c], [Jh], [6s] (5 players)
SB bets $0.25, BB calls $0.25, Hero raises to $2, CO folds, Button calls $2, SB folds, BB folds.

Turn: ($5.75) [2c] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $4, Hero folds.

He was a bad but aggressive player. That meant that I was going to have to face a large river bet. While I think I had the best hand I don’t think that I wanted to pay large amounts of money to find out.

The Bad
----------
Same hand as above because I really had to convince myself to fold. This should be automatic so I don’t know why I immediately think “I have him beat.” The good news was thinking about my last journal entry eventually brought me to my senses.

I love him trying to represent the A. That is really nice because I don’t care if he has the A unless he has a 7 to go with it.

First off the AJ hand vs a really bad player this isnt an auto fold. TPTK does have its times when you can play big pots with it. Vs a very agressive player you will often have the best hand. I know you are shooting for low variance so you to fit that you played the hand fine.

I think you over analyzed the 2nd good hand. I dont think your opponant is good enough to understand that he is representing the A. But I do like the way you played your trips, I'm not sure if that was because of my suggestion or not but like I said before the bozo's think that you wouldnt bet your trips since so many people slow play, so he thinks his 10 is best. Or he just decided to dontate I'm not sure.

Overall
--------
Well it was bound to happen, this was a ugly session. I didn’t make any hand and the hands that I did make got beat by bigger hands.

My W$SF is horrible esp with the cranked up aggression that I am trying out, and there is no way to make money with a WtSD of 6.

Stats
-----------
Hands: 212
VP$IP: 14
W$SF: 17
WtSD: 5.71
W$SD: 50
WL: (23.02)

The Good
-----------
Nothing to see here.

The Bad
----------
I played so few hands that I didn’t do anything major wrong. I do have 2 hands that I have questions on (see below)

The Questions
-----------------
Hand 1:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (7 handed)

BB ($41.52)
UTG ($27.95)
MP1 ($29.70)
Hero ($25.45)
CO ($7)
Button ($22.45)
SB ($12.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with [Jd], [Kd]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.25, 2 folds, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($1) [8h], [Jc], [6d] (4 players)
SB bets $1, BB folds, UTG folds, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2.

Turn: ($7) [8c] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($7) [Kh] (2 players)
SB bets $4, Hero raises to $15, SB calls $5.25 (All-In).

Final Pot: $31.25

Results in white below:
Hero has Jd Kd (two pair, kings and jacks).
SB has 8d 6h (full house, eights full of sixes).
Outcome: SB wins $25.50. Hero wins $5.75.

Opponent was very tight (VP$IP of 13 and W$SD 60) but he was also very aggressive on the flop. He was betting out on the flop more often then he could have had good hands. What do you guys think of the raise on the flop and river? Do I need to promote this hand to the "bad" category?

Hand 2:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed)

SB ($18.35)
BB ($35.85)
UTG ($28.17)
UTG+1 ($32.75)
Hero ($23.40)
MP2 ($19.60)
MP3 ($55.48)
CO ($31.90)
Button ($14.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Kd], [Ks]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $2, MP2 calls $2, 1 fold, CO calls $2, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $1.75.

Flop: ($8.35) [Js], [3d], [Ah] (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO checks.

Turn: ($8.35) [5c] (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets $7, UTG+1 folds, Hero folds, MP2 folds.

Final Pot: $15.35

Results in white below:
No showdown. CO wins $15.35.

I almost always make a continuation bet after a raise (even with KK on a A flop) but with 3 people calling my raise I figure that someone has to have an A. Anyone make a continuation bet here?
