My 1st MTT win

Postby Billy Zoom » Wed Oct 04, 2006 4:58 pm

Granted it was only 70 or so players, and the win paid me only $104 but I outlasted them all on UB.

Was in the middle of the pack most of the way.

Then I was extremely short-stacked with 4 players left - blinds at 800-1600 and my stack was around 12,000.

But I played smart and went heads up as a 2-1 chip under dog. Won a couple of big pots and ended up winning.

I am abosolutely giddy!

Sorry, but I gotta brag somewhere...

Thank you - maybe the "mover of posts" can move this. Didn't see the brag thread...

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Nothing wrong with posting it here. I know what it is like to win a tournament and not have anyone to brag to. I usually play late at night when my wife is asleep (as if she would give a chit anyway - LOL).

Nice job. The 1st one is always the best, no matter the size of the prize.
