KK - is it possible to lay it down?

Postby DaFish » Sat Oct 14, 2006 6:26 pm

Is it ever possible online to get away from KK before the flop?

In the WSOP etc I think some people manage to get away from it

It is because of the deep structure or because of better reads?

personally, I am with Dan Harrington on this.

I folded it once in a Sit n Go when I first started playing after two all ins ahead of me and I am still mad at myself for it.

in a tournament I will never lay down KK preflop..in a cash game its a lot easier as long as you buy in for a full stack but in a tourney fuck it.

This was only Oct 13/06 - 1 week ago. So I guess it show at least I can laydown KK and I have before when the actionis anything like this.
The books say the odds of KK running into AA is less than 4% and I keep wondering what the odds would be of KK running into 2 pairs of AA?
Poker Stove put the odds of the TT winning at 22% with each AA at 38%
