Playing a five dollar freezeout, 1250 guaranteed, at noble. Blinds are at 200 and 400, and im sitting with approx 4000. 30 pay, and there are 42 left (im in 25th out of 42).


The hand: I'm in the big blind and catch two black 6s... player in MP limps, which seems to start off a chain reaction, as three more limp behind him and the SB calls. Pot is at 2400, and the lack of a preflop raise leads me to believe no one has a pair above tens (most hands were being raised in blind steals.) I just checked, attempting to hit my third six, but when I later thought about it I think i should have attempted the squeeze. I dropped out in 37th place after I raised all in on the button with AK and ran into the bb's KK, ya know, just in case anyone cares how I did in the whole thing

I don't think so. Too many people. If you get 2 callers, and I'm guessing your playing a $5 MTT which makes that entirely possible, you have to dodge a ton of OC's. If your up against just an MP limper or LP min-raiser that may be the better play. Here you just check and if you hit your set your probably doubling up as somebody must have top pair. AK hand you can't do a darn thing about.
