Working on early/middle aggression pt 2

Postby MVPSPORTS » Tue Oct 24, 2006 1:12 am

Okay... I have a very distinct pattern in 180 man SNGs... Although I haven't actually taken accurate records, I would say my ITM% is prolly close to 45%, but about 90% of those cashes are 3 hour long affairs to make $20... I've only FTed like 5-6 times (out of DOZENS of cashes)... I usually double up early, toil and boil for the middle levels, and then end up too short ITM to survive that long.... Moral of the story is I'm trying to mize up a few more chips in the earlier/middle stages, and have a few hands that I'm curious of how good the plays are... Generally speaking expect no reads, as I just dont care that much...

Figger I'm a big stack, he's a big stack, prolly doesnt wanna get knocked out... I've pushed BB around a few times and I don't think he'll call... Maybe this is standard...

Pretty standard.
The better player should win the race. Always.

kinda standard.

I would rather raise OTB or 1 off the button. 4 people still to act is a bit much to raise there with QJ.

I would of probly limped to see a flop in position against another big stack...but raising there isnt bad.

He was one of the button, but rasing a limper with QJs isn't standard to me.

I like the play. Even if he does call, it's hard for you to play a big pot unless you have the best hand so there isn't a ton of danger post flop.
