I'm OTB with
![The Eight of Clubs [8c]](https://pofex.com/images/smilies/8c.gif)
and the action folds to a villian in MP who raises, this guy has been raising about 30% of hands and will often showdown junk, but his hands are usually something like A48T, 23KQ or A5TT, not TOTAL junk in a HU situation but utter crap in multiway pots. So it folds back to me and I re-raise to get the blinds out, they both fold and the villian calls.
The flop comes down

and he checks, I bet, he calls. He could have almost anything here from the straight, a FD or 25xx.
The turn is the

and he checks, I check behind.
River is the

and he checks, I check behind.
I wanted to bet that river but against this guy I think he's tricky enough to CR with the flush and a crap low (mine would almost certainly be worse, though) - still, I think checking the turn AND river was weak/tight, esp since it's limit and at most i'll have to pay an extra bet to get to SD so getting a 'cheap showdown' shouldn't have been one of my main priorities.. I'm still new to this, though, so any thoughts on the hand?
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
