I played this pretty weak but I was worried about people waiting for a safe turn before raising so I checked the turn. There's no way i can raise the river but that leave it open for Wild_Walt to make a move since he has to know i don't have the straight.

I know this is incredibly weak. Best move to lead the turn and fold to a raise? What the plan if he calls? value bet and fold to raise on river?

No advice here because this is way above my limits and I don't know how tricky the players are. I generally would overplay these compared to your line, once again reflecting the difference in skill level at our respective limits.

I mainly wanted to post a thanks for taking the time to start this topic. I am still in the "ghost under the bed" mode one minute and "Hoo boy---I flopped the nuts!!" mode the next hand.

I now see how I am getting spanked by better players on marginal hands.

Thanks a bunch,
JJ
