I am playing $50 PL O8 on ub. I am the button with AcAQ10c. Not a great hand in O8 but definatly one I see a flop with. Flop is AKcJc. Oh baby what a flop, now I'm just praying to get some action please say somone else made the straight or a weak flsuh draw. Mp best pot second player calls and its to me. I consder raising but there are two people behind me and I'm hoping one will call but they both fold. Turn is a blank 6sp I think. MP bets 3/4 pot and 2nd player calls, this time i reraise pot, UTG calls, second player raise all in, player 1 calls. Now I'm sure that atleast one of the has the same straight I do probably both. My flush card hits on the river and I tripple up. What a hand the only thing that could possibly have beaten me was a 1 outter draw to quads. Turns out both of the had the same straight I did but I had the mother of all redraws.

Wow that is as good as it gets. I remember a few weeks ago flopping a 15-card wrap straight draw with nut low draw and nut flush draw, but your hand even eclipses that! What a burn it would've been if another non-flush low card hit on the river and you got quartered i'd have been worried about that, the way my O8 luck is going this month .

For what it's worth I think you played the hand 100% perfectly. There's no way you can slowplay the turn because a paired card or flush card will kill your action, and a low card could be scary. I would've thought about raising the flop for the same reason (your redraw will kill your action) but on balance I think you got that right too.

Yeah the oh crap not runner low did cross my mind after the turn, which is part of the reason that I pushed the turn after calling the flop. On guy did have a low draw too, but it was 37, tell me who the hell plays KJ73 in O8? This is what I love about O8 there are so many different draws that most players struggle with it.
