PLO 200 6-max

Postby sondring » Wed Jan 17, 2007 11:26 am

First time I've sat at a 1/2 PLO table. I'm chasing an uber fish here (UTG). I don't have much of a read on the BB, but I have around 100 datamined hands on him and his flop aggression is pretty low and his VP$IP is around 48 with a low PFR.

I know I'm ahead of UTG's range on the flop, but I'm a little worried about the BB. Is this push standard with the 2nd nut flush draw and an overpair?

I'm also a little unsure of my raise preflop, but I was looking to isolate UTG.

Full Tilt Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $100.70
Hero: $192
CO: $86.60
Button: $263.15
SB: $93.10
BB: $248.85

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with [Kc] [Ks] [2c] [8c]
UTG calls, Hero raises to $12, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: [5s] [6c] [3c] ($48, 4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $51, UTG calls, Hero raises all-in $180

barring a read....

given that he bet into the pf aggressor, i'm guessing you're drawing to the flush and maybe (if you're lucky) two K outs.
wwcrd?

Yeah, I was really close to folding and probably should have, just wondering if the push was horrible. In this case I was 30% to win, but against an agressive opponent I might have a lot more equity. Results:

Flop: [5s] [6c] [3c] ($48, 4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $51, UTG calls, Hero raises all-in $180, SB folds, BB raises all-in $236.85, UTG calls all-in $37.7.
Uncalled bets: $56.85 returned to BB.

Turn: [Tc] ($405.4, 0 player + 3 all-in - Main pot: $314.1, Sidepot 1: $182.6)

River: [Js] ($405.4, 0 player + 3 all-in - Main pot: $314.1, Sidepot 1: $182.6)

Results:
Final pot: $405.4
BB showed 4h Ac 9s 5c
UTG showed Jc 9c 4s As
Hero showed Kc Ks 2c 8c

You can see why I was hunting UTG :)
