the call is marginal, imo. i like it more if i think bb will fold often. i like it less if he's calling with a wide range due to "good odds". the key, of course, is playing well post-flop.
as played, i like your post-flop play.
re your calling range Q, are you talking about people being "us" or people being your typical 200 player? assuming you mean us...
- if pfr is a nlhe-type of player, then i call with a wider range. i would want medium or high pairs and/or running types of hands (gaps ok) since i will be more likely to outplay villain if i hit a good flop.
- if pfr is a plo player (esp. if tight), then i only like to play with more premium hands (good running hands and big pairs with help).
fwiw, i don't have a well-defined range here at these stakes since i don't play them in plo. i'm kind of transferring some plo8 concepts to plo with regards to what i think would work at the 200+ level.
