i'm fine with the check raise if you are pretty sure someone will bet. however, I disagree with your non pot sized reraise. There are a ton of draws out there, make them pay. Someone could have diamond draw and/or wrap straight draw so many cards will give someone a better hand or make you worry about your hand. I reraise max and go from there, likely to just get it in on any turn giving stack sizes and pot size.

I'm going for the c/r here with top set. Donking the flop gives wrap/straight combo draws good odds. Then it is just a game of chicken with the board. A full pot c/r takes care of that problem. I'd think that the PFR would CB a large percentage of the time, so I'm willing to take the chance of the flop checking through - which would of course be a disaster.

As for c/r less that pot - I am hard pressed to think of a situation where I would do that. I think if you never make a < pot c/r with chips behind, you are not making any mistakes.
