no-ante 7stud

Postby Nashvegas » Tue Nov 16, 2004 3:13 pm

I'm playing in a 7stud game where there are NO ANTEs. There is a .25 bring-in and the limits are .50/1.00.

How selective should I be with starting hands?

Where do you play with no ante?
Im not the Stud expert ( well, I am an expert stud...lol), but I think Id fold everything but 3 to a straight, 3 to a flush and a pair higher than anyones door card. Sounds boring though.

Royal Vegas has no ante, just the bring-in.

It would be boring. But a no-ante game with a 60% 4th street has got to be ridiculously profitable.

Wow I might have to re down load royal vegas next month. I can be very boring when I want to be.

If I ain't sinkin', well I must be swimin' If I ain't dead, I must be livin' Livin' is the thing, that scares me the most And if I ain't sleepin', well I better be fishin' If I ain't anchored I will be driftin' But all and all, I'm doing pretty good, since I hit my third coast!
