I am puzzled by my showdown numbers. I am a V$IP-23, PFR-9.99%, TA-3.2 PTBB-8.5
Sample size--9000 hands
Won $ WSF--39%
WSD%--------24%
W$SD---------42%
Folded at River--47%
My W$SD seems to be lower than most winners. If I could get it close to 50% I would be a monster. As a conflict, my Won $ when seeing flop is higher than most.
It could be that my aggressive style is driving out all but the best hands and therefore when I'm called down I'm usually beat. I also get a lot of free cards and free looks at showdown. With UA, I tend to scare the opposition. Also, in my game (100nl) many players buy in for the minimum ($20 )and force me to showdown. (I prefer to end the action w/o showdown, especially with my record) Also, it could be that I haven't got my share of help from the deck. For example, I have only been dealt AA 50% less than what the average number should be and It could be that I'm far down on suckouts.
What else could the low W$SD number be? Could I be folding to much? Not aggressive enough at river? To me it seems that if I throw more money at the river it would be more losses. I do play many hands that I don't improve but I also win nearly 50% of the pots that I enter. (which obviously is a tradeoff) Maybe, I shouldn't be concerned with it.
My PF aggression # are:
Flop--4.48
Turn--2.66
River--1.45
