1-2 Pstars
i have 66 and complete behind 3 other from the SB. flop comes down 245r. i bet 8 and the big blind calls.i have no notes or read on this player. the turn is a 6 completing the rainbow. i check my set for a few reasons. first i think that it is very likely that he called the flop with a 3 in his hand. second is that i want to be able to draw at my full house and a bet may make him raise enough that i cant. also if he dosent have a three then he is probably drawing dead or close to it so i dont mind letting him take a free card/.
ok, so he bets 12 and i call.
the river pairs the 2.
this seems like a good spot for a check raise but if he checks it down id be sick. if he has a 3 though ive shown nothing that should worry him even with the board pairing.
if he has anything other than a three it is hard to imagine him calling but he may try to represent it. if he has a full house we will probably get it all in regardless of what i do.
i guess my problem is that if he has a three he may do something crazy like stack off with me, and if he dosent i probably wont get any action anyways.
this actually seems like a good time for either a check raise or an unusually large oversized bet.
any comments, suggestions would be appreciated on how you would go about extracting value on this river.
